Unforgivable follows the story of Alice, a woman who loses her hand and her infant child in a violent attack in 1994, during one of the worst genocides that occurred in Rwanda. Over twenty years after the incident, she is confronted with the man who committed the violence. Alice faces an unbearable scenario... How will she respond to the man that caused unspeakable suffering both physically and emotionally? The documentary had its world premiere in Florence, Italy, its African premiere at the Kigali Convention Center, and its U.S. premiere was at The MoMA in New York City.
